Other than that, it is a good source of some unique thralls (like aesir berserkers- or specific priests like lets say darfari or jebhall ■■■■) and recipes/gears (like pride of aesir armour pieces or lemurian warriors etc…)Īs some mentioned, swirling chaos is to have higher levels of surge from level 1 to level 4 ( needs at least 1001 swirling chaos ) the process is very long if you use lesser ( 1 for 1 ratio ) or normal ( 1 for 2 ratio ) ? essences, but if you use greater ( 1 for 50 ratio ) or shiny ( 1 for 100 ratio ) ? essences it will be much faster !Īs a single player indeed you’ll need to build your wheel the closest possible you can to the leyshrine because as soon as you get too far you encounter loss of knock out thralls like you always had. The ideal number is 1001 and hope that u wont get the t5 one (which is only beasts).Īlso a very strong advice is to build a couple of 8-slot wheels as close as possible to put thralls in… and have in mind that surge is visible to all on map (via sound notification AND icon on map as long as it is active) and EVERYONE (FRIEND OR FOE) can take-kill- or interact with ur summoned npcs… The focused altar gives u the region of the exiled lands ur purge will come from… So altar of the north will bring u aesir faction, east will bring u the lemurians etc… Experiment withthis beofre u go… After that u need to put the essencess in … lesser gives 1 chaos, the unstable gives more etc (cannot remember the numbers exactly, but u will see em) GREAT ATTENTION as u cannot move the essences when converted to chaos from shrine (so better put the bigger ones in 1st and then adjust using the smaller ones…)… So I would like to know how long will any summoned thralls, both conscious and unconcious, remain at the Leyshrine until despawning? I am just wondering if I die of tow a thrall back to my base, will the others still be there upon my return. does which Leyshrine we perform the Surge at have any direct bearing on the type, quantity and constitution of the thralls spawned?.But the thing is that I am still yet to see a single one appear either in person or on the map! Am I missing something here? My understanding is that they are supposed to trigger around the map after the Maelstrom storm from the Tower dissipates. what purpose do all of the shutters, screens/barricade and braziers at the structure serve?.what role does the ‘?’ artifacts and ‘swirling chaos’ play in the process?.Ok so to start the process I go to the Leyshrine of the Serpent, Drowned or Demon, as the other three are not funtional in their current states right? We move to the upper level, then for the cost of 10 hardened steel bars (not eldarium), we craft a ‘focus altar’ and pull the adjacent lever to initiate the process, correct? Now I am still a little unsure of the following: But I was hoping that some of you could clear a few things up for me. However, despite having watched a few videos, there are a few things which I am still a bit confused about.
